Keeping Warm in Older Homes (Free Event) – Park Hotel, Kilmarnock

Information and advice on how to treat and maintain traditionally built properties. Also a chance to speak to an expert about draught proofing, glazing, heating options and renewable heating systems. This event is aimed at owners of all types of properties.

FREE tea, coffee, sandwiches, soup and cake will be available. You can also enter a free prize draw with a chance to win £250 of B&Q vouchers.

Presentations start at 12pm followed by a drop in “ask the expert” session up until 4pm. The presenters include Roger Curtis from Historic Environment Scotland, Dr Tanya Ewing from Glaze & Save and Ian Heron from Mitsubishi Electric.

Additionally, Nicolas Whitelaw from PAS (Planning Aid Scotland) will also be in attendance to offer free and impartial advice on assistance with planning and obtaining building warrants etc.
